Blaze trails
Until now business development in Texas has been handled by people with other responsibilities. As the first focused business development resource here, you should be able to score some early victories and build momentum from there.

Stability and growth
We've been in business for longer than 40 years and have been an industry leader for much of that time. A few years ago we restructured to enhance our stability, and we continue to grow, even as others are pulling back in response to the pandemic. None of our competitors is pivoting to explore new markets, giving you a solid edge.

Professional development
Success in this role could set you up to take on additional responsibilities or pursue advancement in our organization. We expect the business development team to grow and will be looking for strong performers to step up. In addition, you might set your sights on opportunities in other areas, such as operations.

Great environment
We get it: Our front-line employees are a key part of what makes DBi Services special. We recognize and reward achievement, and provide a culture based on innovation, safety, commitment and collaboration.

Community involvement
In each of our office locations, we actively support local charities and community activities. From volunteering to providing labor to raising funds and making donations, we work with a diverse group of reputable charities such as the American Cancer Society, S.A.F.E (Supporting Autism & Families Everywhere), the Helping Hands Society and countless other local charitable organizations and programs.

Excellent compensation
In addition to a competitive base and uncapped commission, you can earn a bonus for exceeding quarterly and annual targets. We also offer a full range of benefits that support you, eligible family members and domestic partners. These benefits include health care coverage, a 401(k) plan, generous paid time off, and other resources to improve your well-being.

This is a role for a true hunter. At the same time, as we've already mentioned, it's not a "lone wolf" role. We are able to achieve more as a team than we are as individuals, and you'll need to develop relationships with key internal contacts in multiple areas. In addition, while we have a global footprint, we run lean, so everyone contributes beyond their job description.

In addition, to be an outstanding Government / Municipal Account Executive, you will:
  • Bring an entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic.
  • Assume ownership and accountability for your responsibilities.
  • Keep a constant eye out for new opportunities, without being afraid to challenge the status quo.
  • Strike the right balance between being aggressive and establishing trust-based relationships.
  • Remain patient and persistent as you manage longer sales cycles.
